Cynthia Loewen
has been creating beautiful glass artwork for more than 16 years, first in Winnipeg, Manitoba with her mother, Lois Loewen at Prairie Stained Glass. Cynthia moved to Vancouver and has her own business, Mystic Glass Designs.
Cynthia started selling her own original artwork at The Crypt in Winnipeg and has her pieces in Vancouver at Dragonspace on Granville Island, Deadly Couture and Venus and Mars in Gastown.
Cynthia creates a wide variety of beautiful pieces, from custom art orders to functional goblets, mirrors, clocks, jewelry boxes, candle holders, urns, tables and traditional stained glass window panes. Continuously looking for new shops to display her artwork, Cynthia Loewen and Mystic Glass Designs will be around for many years to come, helping people find beautiful and functional glass art work.
The Gothic age from 10th century Europe brought a full flowering of stained glass. These light-filled works of art revealed biblical stories to the common people as they were illiterate and served as an inspiration during dark times. Gothic stained glass became the sun-filled world of the Creator.
